Dr. John C. Hughes, D.O.
Dr. John Hughes, D.O., practices osteopathic and integrative medicine. His clinic, Aspen Integrative Medicine, Inc. provides the latest innovations in modern and natural medical care in Aspen and Basalt. He is also the founder of TBI Therapy, a clinic that offers treatment for traumatic brain injury. Dr. Hughes graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and received training in family practice at the University of Arizona. He has pursued extensive post-graduate training in integrative medicine, prolotherapy, and osteopathic manual medicine. He is a speaker for the Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation (ASMF), the American Academy of Ozone Therapists (AAOT), and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM).
David J. Nickamin, CMT / AMTA
David has been studying, living and practicing health and wellness for over 20 years! His experience began with his father who practiced Pediatrics and inspired all four of his children to eventually pursue careers in Health and Wellness. Dave studied at the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona and earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Soon after he moved to Colorado and studied with the Boulder School of Massage Therapy.
“The focus of my practice is about meeting people where they are and begin every treatment right there, with them.” By utilizing a variety of techniques and practices that he has acquired and embodied for over the past 20 years, David finds that a multidirectional philosophy and approach benefits most.
Adam J. Nickamin, CRP / NCTMB
Adam attended the University of Colorado, Boulder and received his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in 2001. He is a certified Rolfing Practioner & Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. He attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and received his National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2001 with 1000 hours of training. That year he also received his orthopedic and sports massage certification. He received his certification as a Rolf Practitioner in 2006 at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
He also received his Source Point Therapy certification in 2007. His memberships include: International Association of Structural Integration International Massage Association, American Heart Association CPR & First Aid Certified, and the American Massage Therapy Association.
